GNC vitamin and supplement store on 53rd Street closes

The local GNC at 1519 E. 53rd St., in the Hyde Park Bank Building, closed on Monday, Dec. 12; workers were clearing out inventory later in the week. The vitamin and supplement store had been open since at least 2007. The brand's corporate office in Pittsburgh could not be reached for comment.
