Photo: Hyde Park kids set up farm stand

From left to right: Phoebe, Fern, Tatum, Owen and Mikayla selling fresh green tomatoes, onions, eggs, yellow squash, and surplus stuffed animals at their farm stand near 54th Street and Drexel Avenue on Monday, July 26. The produce was sourced from the kids’ two family farms: Feather Leaf Farm in Illinois and Pridgeon Farms in Michigan. Tatum informed the Herald that she and her friends hoped to make $108 that day, which they intended to spend on Calico Critters toys.
